I recently acquired some carved linoleum blocks of aquatic birds. They are lovely and expressive and I am excited to present a poster using these vintage blocks! 

This poster was printed in four layers - the original linoleum block in black, a subtle background surrounding the heron itself in a pale blue created using a process called pressure printing, a yellow rising moon printed using wood type from our studio, and a title - "Marais la Nuit", based on a Neko Case song of the same name.
